Performance
The XC60 comes with two gas powertrain options, the B5 and B6 powertrains, and they both utilize a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The B6 involves a turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 247 horsepower, while the B6 adds a supercharger to the four-cylinder, producing 295 horsepower. Every powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, including the available T8 plug-in hybrid.
Infotainment System
Like any other new Volvo model you can encounter around New Iberia, the new XC60 gets the Google-based infotainment system that comes with a user-friendly 9-inch touchscreen. The center display supports new software that adds Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, which are beneficial when you want to pair the device with the touchscreen. A voice recognition app and a navigation system that uses Google maps are more options accompanying the touchscreen. Bluetooth® audio streaming, SiriusXM® and a Wi-Fi hotspot also accompany the touchscreen.
Safety and Exterior
The new Volvo XC60 also comes with updates to the sensing equipment that provides data for the driver-assistant features. This luxury SUV offers a restyled exterior, as the front fascia boasts a reworked bumper and front grille. In addition, Opelousas shoppers can get new wheel designs and a gesture-operated tailgate release. This new compact Volvo SUV also has new exterior color options.
